The name Mrs Price's Parlour is inspired by the photo that Cecil Sharp took of a singer called Mrs Elizabeth Price.  She sang a version of  'Blow Away The Morning Dew' for Sharp and was living at Compton Martin when they met.  He wrote very fondly of her in his little essay entitled, 'The Mendip Singers.'
